Have you ever gambled at a casino? Perhaps not. What about horse racing or pachinko? Maybe? I have gambled a few times in my life. I see the appeal of a chance to win big, like everyone else. But at what cost?
Everyone knows that gambling can be a big slippery slope leading to financial and social disaster. I'm not sure about Japan, but gambling is by far the biggest cause of bankruptcy for Australian people. In Australia, casinos and pokies machines (similar to pachinko) are everywhere and they're dangerously popular. A lot of people get hooked and lose everything.
Now, I mentioned that I've gone to casinos before and gambled. Don't misunderstand - I'm not addicted. I just learned how to play more responsibly. My first time gambling was horrible - I lost a lot of money.
From that experience, I learned how to control myself better and nowadays, if I plan to go to a casino, I only bring the amount I want to spend and leave my wallet at home. If you ever decide to go to a casino anywhere in the world, let my experience be advice for you too!
Thanks for reading as always and stay tuned!
