Hello Mejiro School Students!
How was your winter vacation? I hope you all had a relaxing time! What did you do? When you see me, please tell me all about it! I want to hear what you got up to! As for me, I went to Okinawa. I went scuba diving! Now, you're probably thinking, "Suzie, how can you go diving when it's freezing cold!?!?" Well, it was tolerable! It was windy and cloudy on land, but in the sea it was quite warm! I took lots of photos and saw a lot of beautiful marine life. I went diving for 2 days, 4 dives in total. The more I dive, the more confident I become. I even fell into the water at one point, but I didn't panic! The ship's captain and the diving instructor even shouted "Are you ok?" and I gave them the thumbs up. I saw tons of awesome sea creatures, from clown fish, to sea snakes! I saw many nudibranchs which are a type of sea slug. I like to call them sea rabbits or sea bunnies because it sounds cuter. They were so colourful and it was my first time seeing them. I took many pictures. Please feel free to ask me to show them to you!
I can't believe 2020 is already here! With a new year, I have new energy, so I have a wishlist of things I want to do! This year I want to get a scuba diving license, go scuba diving more, take more photographs and improve my Japanese. Yeah, I know, it's a lot. But small bite size pieces of doable goals will lead to accomplishments! What do you want to do this year?
