One of the most important things we can do for ourselves is be selfish and give ourselves some love and care. Especially, in this global disaster. We can`t do things that were normal to us before like going out without any worry or fear. There are small changes that make our current lives just a little difficult which means we need to give ourselves a little more attention. We need to take care of our mind and body.
Here are some things I do to take care of myself. I like to watch shows and movies. Through this I can laugh and enjoy some great works of art, all whilst eating snacks! Recently, I also plan out what I`ll eat for the day and try to make delicious food. I love cooking, so I challenge myself by trying to recreate dishes I had when I was in Junior High or High school. This helps me relax and I can also eat good food. (Although sometimes, it`s not so good.) But all in all, It`s a good trip down memory lane. I like to draw (not very good). I can always rely on colors and pictures to help me unwind and release some anxiety. How about you? What do you like to do?
