As many of you know, I'm an "ET" - an Emergency Teacher. I move from school to school helping out when schools are suddenly missing a teacher. Sometimes a teacher just has the flu and needs to take a day off, and sometimes a teacher leaves the school before the next teacher is ready to come to Japan. (It takes a long time to get a organize the paperwork for a visa for us foreign teachers.)
So now that Kawasaki school and Shayla have found each other, it's time for me to move on to the next school that needs me.
It's my job. I always knew I wouldn't stay forever. However, I'm still very sad to leave. Kawasaki school has the nicest coworkers, very hardworking students, very friendly and fun-loving students, really cute and really quick-learning kids... I could go on and on about how much I love everyone here.
Thank you for everything, Kawasaki school! I hope I can see you again soon!
