Hello、Nice to meet you 【以外】の初対面の人へのあいさつ教えます！
Hello everyone! It's Laurel again. Today, I want to tell you about ways we can greet, welcome, and introduce ourselves to strangers and new people!
Of course, all of us probably know how to say, "Hello," "Nice to meet you," or "My name is...," but there are many other words or phrases we can use in this situation.
もちろん、Hello（こんにちは）、Nice to meet you（初めまして）、My name is...（私の名前は...です）といった挨拶は多くの方がご存知かと思いますが、使える言葉や表現が他にもたくさんあります。
For example, if someone is visiting your house for the first time, you can say, "Welcome (to my house)! Please make yourself at home." This is a common way to let someone know they can be comfortable at your house.
If you want to make small-talk with someone you are meeting for the first time, you can ask questions like, "What do you do?," "Where are you from?," or "What do you like to do?" These are very common questions that can often start a conversation--and the answers may also be very interesting!
Other ways we can say, "Nice to meet you," can be words/phrases such as, "It's lovely to meet you," "Pleased to meet you," "How do you do?," "Glad to meet you," or "It was lovely meeting you." In place of "Hello," you can say, "How's it going?," "How are you?," or "What's up?/What's new?"
I hope I was able to teach you something interesting today! Until next time!
