Fun Times in Shimonoseki
A few weeks ago I was finally able to visit Shimonoseki for the first time since I have been in Japan. I was very excited because I am a big fan of fugu and I love being near the water.
I met up with a friend at the train station and we spent the afernoon walking around Shimonoseki Wharf and Karato Market before making our way up to Hinoyama Park. For anyone who is interested, it's a fairly easy walk on a paved pathway up the side of Hinoyama Mountain. The views from the top are amazing and I highly recommend checking it out next time you head that way.-Julia

海とふぐが大好きなのですごく楽しかったです。
私は駅で友人と待ち合わせをして、火の山公園に行った後に港の商業施設と唐戸の魚市場の周りを歩きました。火の山公園までは簡単に歩いていきました。頂上からの眺めは感動的なので下関方面へ行く機会があればぜひ皆さんにおすすめです！
