Golden Week

In the US, we do not have a holiday

like Golden Week where many people

vacation at the same time.

For me, it is a very relaxing time.

Because most of my friends also have

time off, we can make plans to meet up

and have lunch or dinner.

It's a great opportunity to catch up

with friends I don't get to meet very often.

Also, I like to take a day trip somewhere

close, like Kamakura. It is a great time for

that because the weather is very nice.

Of course last year I didn't travel,

and I will not this year; but I am looking

forward to going somewhere next year
