Parks in Japan
Hello everyone! This is Linda-sensei ~(^o^~)
Last weekend I went biking in a really big park near Tachikawa station called Showa Kinen Park with my friend. Usually, when I say "let`s go to the park" in America that means we`re going to place with lots of grass and either a basketball court or playground. In addition its usually free admission but I have found that Japan has many small or large parks in the city where there is a minimum entrace fee in order to simply walk around, bike or enjoy the scenery. Of course, there are parks that are free, but I appreciate being able to go to places like Showa Kinen Park to see not only a lot of nature but also a little bit of history too!
I hope everyone has a great day!!
