Travel Wishes
Hello again everyone! It's Laurel, and today I would like to talk about travel!
Before coming to Japan, I only traveled in America. The USA is so big, which means that there are many places to see and so many things to do, but it is difficult to see and do all of it! Even traveling within a state can take several hours, depending on where you want to go and which state you are in. Kentucky isn't very big, so traveling from my hometown to the city of Louisville or Lexington takes about two hours. Traveling to another state, though, can take days sometimes, so it is very common for people to fly to different states instead of drive. I have visited Chicago, Illinois a few times, usually by bus or by car, which can take about 5 to 8 hours, depending on traffic. Flying, though, only takes about 2 or 3 hours. It is fun, but it can be a bit tiring!
Traveling in Japan, though, feels far less tiring. With a bullet train, it is much faster than driving but more comfortable than flying--and I still get to enjoy the view! I haven't traveled much in Japan, but I want to in the future! I want to explore Miyagi more, as well as everything else Japan has to offer. I hope to see everything that I can while I am here--and I hope that if you travel to the USA, you can see many wonderful things there, too! (I also hope that in the future, I can make my friends and family come visit me, and visit this beautiful country and meet the kind people who live here!)!
Thank you for reading, and I will see you next time!
