Hello everyone! It's Laurel again, and today I'll be talking about learning languages and the importance of daily practice. As I've mentioned in older blog posts, I'm trying to learn Japanese. It's a difficult thing to do, and much slower than I'd like for it to be. It can be discouraging sometimes--but it's important that I keep trying and working as hard as you all do!

（皆さんこんにちは！Laurelです。今日は、言語を学ぶことと日々の練習の重要さについて話したいと思います。以前投稿した記事にも書いたように、私は日本語を勉強しています。日本語の勉強は難しく、想像以上に時間がかかります。時に落ち込むこともありますが、皆さんが英語を勉強しているように、気持ちを切らさずにやり続けることはとても重要であると感じています。）

As hard as learning a new language can be, in the end, it's so very rewarding. Learning and improving are so exciting, and it really can change your life to learn a new language! And, the best thing to do to keep improving (after not being afraid to make mistakes!), is to study every day. You don't need hours free--just about ~15 minutes a day is enough to see improvements! Of course, you can study for longer than that--just remember to take breaks, stretch, and drink some water (or tea)!

（新しい言語を学べば学ぶほど、最終的にはとても価値のあるものになります。学び高めることは、とてもわくわくすることであり、あなたの人生をも変え得ることです。間違いを恐れないようになったのちに上達し続ける最適な方法は、毎日の学習です。自由な時間を何時間も作る必要はなく、1日にたったの15分程度学習するだけで上達を実感できます！もちろん、15分以上学習しても良いですが、その場合は休憩・ストレッチ・水分補給をお忘れなく！）
