Now that summer has arrived,
many people are spending more time
outdoors by going for walks,
visiting parks/gardens and enjoying the
sunshine.
One of my favourite things to do when
the weather is warm is to go hiking.
Over the past few years, I have hiked
a few mountains in Japan.
Most recently, I hiked up Mt. Nokogiri
in Chiba Prefecture. This mountain is
perfect for beginners like myself and
isn't very strenuous on the body.
The view at the top is also worth
the hike as it is located right next
to the ocean. This area also has a
ropeway for people to go up and down
the mountain if they don't want to hike.
On your way up/down the mountain,
you can also see many unique shaped
rocks, statues and even a Japanese
temple. I definitely recommend this
mountain for hiking or even just for
visiting.
The view is absolutely breathtaking
and I'm sure you won't regret it.
If you have any hiking recommendations,
please let me know!
