This week we are talking about our hometown,
and one common phrase is “where are you from.”
This can have different meanings, but it generally means
where did you grow up? Not necessarily where you were born.
For example, I was born in Southern California,
but I grew up in Orange County and Boston. S
o if someone asks me
where I`m from I usually say Orange County and Boston.
