Hello! This is Brendan. How are you?

Most people know that I love to sing!

However, many people don't know that I also love to dance!

Today I want to talk about my experience singing and dancing!

I started singing when I was 10 years old.

I got a solo in the school choir show and I was really happy.

After that I joined a singing and dancing group in my hometown!

The group is called "The Youngstown Connection".

They travel all over the world performing many songs!

There are only 12 people allowed in the group so I was lucky to get in.

I had to learn over 50 different songs and dances.

Singing and dancing at the same time is difficult!

Our uniform was a black tuxedo with red bowties so I always got really hot!

During high school I was also in our school musicals.

My favorite part was the Prince.

I got to wear a cool costume!

In college I didn't dance but I was in an A Cappella group called "Rhythm and Roos".

A Cappella means music with no instruments so we had to sing everything!

I used to write music for the group.

I would listen to a song and write sheet music for us to sing with.

It was really difficult but fun!

These days I usually only sing at karaoke but sometimes I make singing videos and put them online.

I miss making music with other people though, so someday I want to join another singing group.

I might even start dancing again! It's great exercise!
