This is Brendan. How are you?

At AEON schools the lobby is a great place to practice your English!
There are teachers and other students who also want to improve their English.

Sometimes it can be scary to talk to someone new, like a teacher or student you don't know.

Today I want to teach some helpful phrases you can use to talk to teachers or students in the AEON lobby!

First to ask about likes or hobbies you can ask

"What are you into?" Or "What kinds of things are you interested in?".

This is a good way to learn about new people!

If you want to know about something specific you can ask

"Do you like.....?".

You can use many words at the end like "movies", "video games", "karaoke", "reading", "shopping" and many other words!

To ask about free time you can ask

"What do you do for fun?", "What do you do to relax?" Or "How do you like to spend your weekends?"

Getting to know new people is fun and there are always people to talk to in the AEON lobby!
