Hi everyone! It is me, Ricky!

Today I am here to talk about my New Year's Vacation!

So while it was not the most exciting, due to the times, I still got to do some nice fun things!

Before the New Year, I went to some shrines, just to have somewhere peaceful to go.

I knew that if I went in January, they would be very crowded, and I want to avoid that.

Another place I went was the Imperial Palace, somewhere I have not been in such a long time.

Again, it was another place that was quite empty, and it was just nice to see, even if it was mostly closed off.

On New Year's Eve itself, I took part in the tradition of watching one of the New Year's Eve shows.

Seeing that I can not understand much verbal stuff, I watched the music performances.

It was a great way to introduce myself to new music artists and just see more of Japanese culture.

Other minor things I did was watch things on my computer, and read some books.

Of course, I did also get to talk with my parents.

Wishing them a happy new year was nice, even if I could not be there with them.

It was more of a quiet and calm vacation for me, but honestly, that is a very good thing sometimes.

I did not make any real resolutions yet, but I plan to do that soon, to have some goals for myself.

Even if I do not accomplish them, it is always good to have them to think about!
