Japan has many fun festivals. I like seeing summer festivals in Japan. My favorite is the Sansa Festival in Morioka. America has many festivals, too. But in America, I like going to the State Fair.

There are several competitions in many areas. There are farming competitions, art competitions, talent competitions, pageants, and concerts. It's fun to see all of the exhibits. Also, there is a lot of great food. Corn dogs, french fries, and fried chicken are easy to find. And there are several unique desserts, like funnel cakes and fried candy bars!

My favorite part of the State Fair is the carnival. There are many exciting rides, and the midway is beautiful at night! Big states have more than one fair, and most counties have a fair, too. I like to travel to different fairs to ride different rides and see different exhibits, and of course to eat some great food!
