Soba Party2 生徒様のお宅で手打ちそば！その②
First came the tempura.
My students had prepared shrimp, squid, green pepper,
sweet potato, mushroom and lotus root tempura.
It looked and smelled delicious. Then out came the soba.
We all got a glass of wine or beer and started to dig in.
The tempura was perfectly battered.
It was nice and light and the vegetables and seafood were not overcooked.
We topped the tempura with some pink freshly ground salt which made the taste pop even more.
The soba was excellent. It was the best soba I've ever had.
It was firm, springy and had a nice texture. You could tell it was made that day.
There was a lot of soba so I was able to have four servings!
