オハイオでの新年について紹介してもらいました！

アメリカでは新年より大みそかのNew Year's Eveのほうが

盛り上がるみたいです！

Hello! This is Brendan. How are you?

It's almost 2021! But before we start the new year

we can celebrate 2020.

In Ohio we have several ways to ring in the new year!

In my hometown we have a community celebration on

New Year's Eve called "First Night".

During First Night there are many events and performances downtown.

Sometimes my singing and dancing group would perform

during First Night!

At the end of the night we have a big countdown with a ball drop

just like New York City!

After the ball drops there is a fireworks show and everyone parties.

On New Year's Day we relax and watch college football!

There is usually a championship game on New Year's Day.

We don't do anything special on New Year's Day like Japan.

All of our fun is on New Year's Eve!
