Hello! This is Brendan. How are you?

In Ohio it gets very cold during the winter (-5°C on average!),

so I try to stay warm by eating hot food!

Today I'll talk about some of my favorite winter foods.

First is Chicken Noodle Soup!

Chicken Noodle Soup is a soup made with chicken broth, veggies,

noodles, and of course, chicken!

My mom would always make chicken noodle soup when

I was little on cold winter days.

She makes the best chicken noodle soup so

I could eat it all day.

Next is Hot Chocolate!

Hot Chocolate is warm hot milk mixed with chocolate and

topped with whipped cream and/or marshmallows.

It's the perfect drink on a cold winter day.

Finally my last food is Candy Canes!

Candy Canes are peppermint candies shaped like canes.

They are usually red and white with a peppermint flavor.

I like them because they remind me of Santa!

I also love peppermint so I can eat a lot of Candy Canes

very easily!
