Hi everyone, it is me, Ricky!

Today I am here to talk about American Summer Vacation!

So I am from America, yes, but specifically from the state of Florida.

The state of Florida is famous for theme parks！

One thing that should be more spoken about when it comes to summer in Florida is rain.

It rains, almost every single day. Every afternoon, around 15:00 or 16:00 it will rain for a little bit.

Normally though, it is not just rain, but storms. Thunderstorms. So it will pour and pour.

Then, like nothing has happened, it will go away and be sunny again. Florida summer weather is strange.

Outside of Florida weather, summer is a great time for family vacations.

When I was younger, I got to travel quite a bit.

Having family in Puerto Rico (a beautiful island) I went there every few years.

There are nice beaches, and mountains.

Also we got to take what we call road trips, which is just going on a long drive somewhere instead of flying.

The trip I remember the most is Washington D.C., the capital of the U.S. which was about 16 hours of driving for my parents.

It was a lot of fun getting to see all the historical places and many museums.
