Hi everyone,

it is me Ricky!

Today I want to talk to you

about greeting expressions!

There are so many ways

to say hello in English.

I want to start with

the basic one word greetings.

Things like

Hi or Hello or Hey

These all work as a simple thing.

Sometimes accompanied with a hand wave.

If you want more polite but simple questions.

We have things like

"How are you?"

"How's it going?"

"What's up?"

With responses like

"I'm doing well"

"Great and you?"

"Not much, yourself?"

If you want time related greetings we have

Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening

Good night is only ever used as a way to say goodbye.

So these are some examples of way to say hello to people
