Hello everyone!
This is Sarah!
How are you today?
Today I'll tell you some English proverbs!
A proverb can give you
good advice about life.
It's great if you can remember them and
use them to give advice!
The first proverb is:
"the early bird catches the worm".
(早起きは三文の徳)
It means that if you are early,
you can get the best things!
For example,
if I am the first person at a concert I can get the best
seat.
I like to do things early
so I can be prepared and relaxed.
Are you an early person like me?
The second proverb is: "better safe than sorry".
(用心するにこしたことはない)
It means that you should be careful!
If something is risky, you should not do
it, or you should make a backup plan.
Being safe is better.
If you take a risk and there is a bad result,
you will feel sorry later.
I like this proverb because I am a careful person.
Do you often take risks?
There are many more proverbs in English.
Do you know some useful Japanese proverbs?
Please tell me in the future!
Have a great day! See you soon!
