Hello! This is Brendan. How are you?

In April many Americans celebrate the start of spring.

There is also a special holiday called Easter!

Easter is similar to Christmas because some people celebrate it

because of their religion, and other celebrate it just for fun!

Easter is mainly a Christian holiday in America.

It celebrates the ressurection of Jesus Christ,

but many kids are more familiar with the Easter Bunny!

Some people say the Easter Bunny and his eggs represent the start of

new life in Spring!

On Easter many kids will decorate boiled eggs and hide them around the house.

After that they try to find all of the hidden eggs and see who can find the most.

It's called an "Easter Egg Hunt"!

Some families also use plastic eggs and fill them with chocolate.

When I was little, we would fill big baskets with our decorated eggs and leave them for the Easter Bunny.

Then when we woke up in the morning the baskets would be filled with a lot of Chocolate!

The most popular chocolate on Easter is a big chocolate bunny!

It takes several days to finish it because it is over 2kg of solid chocolate!

Now I'm really hungry for chocolate bunnies!
