This weekend, I went to a Vegan restaurant I haven’t been to yet. It’s a really cute little place with a shop next door. When I got there it was full so while I was waiting to eat, I went next door. They have so many things there. Curry roux, soup, sausages and lots of other snacks that are completely vegan! I was so excited, I bought two types of fake meats and some curry roux.
Finally, I could get into the restaurant. There were lots of options on the menu, both Japanese and Western style dishes. I had a Japanese style dish and some carrot cake. The carrot cake came with “tofu cream.” I was really interested in tofu cream because it doesn’t really sound very nice. However, it was really sweet and surprisingly creamy!
When I got home, I tried the two different types of fake meat. I wanted to know which one I liked best without too much sauce so I made meat-free Soborodon. The “meat” was a really good texture. I am very happy with my latest purchase!
