Golden week is coming up and although

it is not wise to travel, today I would like

to share about my favourite trip that

I have taken during that time.

3 years ago, my friends and I travelled to

Ehime Prefecture and rented bicycles to ride

along the Shimanami Kaido. Luckily,

the weather was beautiful and sunny

the entire time that we were there.

We were able to enjoy the sunshine

and the beautiful scenery. We were also

able to try many unique foods in Ehime

and meet many locals in the area.

In total, it took about two days to finish

the bike trip.

We started in Imabari and rode our bikes

through the different islands such as

Hakata Island, Omishima Island and so on.

It was a little difficult and our legs were

definitely exhausted at the end of the trip

but the sights were worth it.

At the end, we arrived in Onimichi and took

the train over to Hiroshima. In my opinion,

it might be better to take three days to go

across the islands instead of two so that we

can enjoy more of the sights and take our

time on each island.

If you like the ocean breeze, seeing amazing

sights and cycling, I definitely recommend

riding a bike along the Shimanami Kaido!
