Hey everyone,
Today, I would like to share some common
English Idioms that you can use in your
everyday English conversation.
For example:
●A piece of cake-something that is very
easy i.e. The TOEIC test was a piece of cake.
●Under the weather-not feeling well/feeling sick
i.e. I'm a little bit under the weather today
●Call it a day - to stop working on something
i.e. Let's call it a day and go home.
●Once in a blue moon - something that rarely happens
i.e. I go to the gym once in a blue moon.
●Break a leg - Good luck for people doing performances (theatre)
i.e. Break a leg! I'm sure the play will be amazing.
●Hit the books - to study
i.e. I'm going to go home and hit the books.
These are all very natural expressions
so feel free to try to use it
in your daily conversations!
