Michael is back and this time with another not-so-serious blog post this time.

Over the years I've been here, I've been asked many questions by many of you, some English related and some personal stuff too.

So I've decided to compile a personal FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) post, composed of many of the (appropriate) questions I've received over the many years and answers to them.

(The more private questions, we can talk about in person ;) haha )

So I'll just post some of the random ones that come to mind...

Why did I come to Japan?

-By far the most frequently asked question over the years, especially from newer students. So frequent that I even did a speech about it in Japanese many years ago at the head office. But for the sake of this blog entry, I'll just keep it short and say - lifestyle change.

What's my favorite food?

-I like 90% of all Japanese food, but one of the things that comes quickly to my mind is yakitori. It's accessible, tastes good and doesn't require any complicated ritual or steps or instructions on how to eat, unlike other Japanese dishes.

What's the best way to improve English?

-Many things. But I'd say straight up - Ondoku. I'll probably do a separate article about this, but being saturated in the sounds over and over again, repeating it over and over again, builds those patterns in your brain to improve speaking, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, knowledge of idioms and so much more all in one method.

Who is my favorite student?

-Secret!
