This last weekend, me and Chizuko-sensei's family went to Nikko together! It was so much fun. They all got to practice their English with me and I was able to practice my Japanese with them. We collected goshuin, ate yuba and ramen, and even sang some Christmas songs together. We saw the crying dragon, and someone told me that if you hear the bell ring then your wish will come true! I don't know exactly what I heard, but it did sound kind of like a bell. We also stopped at the Kegon falls and bought some souvenirs. It was so much fun! Have you ever been to Nikko? What other Japanese recommendations do you have?
