That was a scary typhoon, wasn't it? I made sure to hunker down inside all day. Around 10pm on Saturday the wind was whipping my balcony door so hard the rubber was making a squeaking noise! Luckily I didn't lose power, but I know some of my friends weren't so lucky.
The whole thing reminded me of a big hurricane that hit my home town 7 years ago. Also, you'll notice the title gives the typhoon a name! In Japan people always use a number to identify the typhoons, but typhoons are still given names the same way hurricanes are in America.
Let's hope for no more typhoons this year. I look forward to seeing you all in class here at Kitanarashino School! Talk to you then~
Until next time.
