今月のMarie先生のSurvey（調査）は、日本のスナックについて！

お好み焼きと、もんじゃ焼き、あなたはどっちが好き？？(^▽^)

Hi, everyone！It's getting hotter, and we have a new survey out!

This month, we're asking you; do you like okonomiyaki or monjayaki more? These two are basically made with the same batter and cabbages, but the cabbages are cut in thin lengthwise strips for monjayaki, while square chunks are used for okonomiyaki. We also add more water for monjayaki, to get that gooey texture!

Which one do I like more, you ask?

I prefer monjayaki because we can get more creative with the toppings for it. I always make a stop at Tsukishima when I'm in Tokyo to visit my favorite monjayaki place. My favorite toppings are mochi, cheese and kimchi. I always eat the burnt, sticky and crispy part! I've tried squid ink monjayaki before too, but I found it too fishy- like I was eating sea urchin. It made for a good experience, but I'm not up for trying it again!
