As I'm sure you know, Halloween is tomorrow! During this season, I have been teaching kindergarten Halloween special lessons and using ASL (American Sign Language) along with the vocabulary. Teaching Halloween lessons can be very interesting, and everyone always has a lot of fun! Although, my hand hurts a little bit this month from signing "pumpkin". The sign is made by flicking the finger of your right hand on top of the closed fist of your left hand. I don't think most people sign "pumpkin" as often as I have been doing this month!
Some of the Halloween words I am teaching are pumpkin, skeleton, witch, and ghost. What other words would you recommend? Please let me know the next time you come visit us at AEON Nagaoka!
